I,  As a requirement for admission to and retention of membership and participation in the American Videographers Association, Inc, agree to strive at all times to upgrade and improve my knowledge and skill of professional videography, marketing and related areas.

 

 

1.  Conduct all business transactions with honesty and integrity.

2.  Deal with all videograhers and vendors with honesty and integrity.

3.  Engage in fair and honest business practices, adhering to local/states and or/federal laws and regulations.

4.  Strive at all times to produce work of the highest quality.

5.  In all dealings with fellow AVA members, students and others who aspire to be professional videographers, I shall share the knowledge and skill of professional videography.

6.  Suppport efforts for, and assist in the education of all interested persons and the general public in the art and science of professional videography.

7.  Promise not to misrepresent any of my skills or services, to videographers or the general public.

8.  Promise not to communicate to the general public any derogatory or slanderous comments concerning fellow videographers.

9.  Promise to be timely while on location, to dress appropriately and to conduct myself in a manner which reflects the highest levels of professionalism

10.  Use dependable equipment and accessories and maintain it in good working order.  Have backup systems and procedures to deal with breakdowns, so that coverage of events will not be compromised.
